Nov 25, 2019—Dinner With Strangers

We held the first dinner in our new series Dinner With Strangers. It's exactly what it sounds like: strangers, sitting around a table (in my living room), having thoughtful conversation. The night was facilitated by Bobo Matjila (Chorus' social media whizz and general media extraordinaire).

We were nervous before it started. What if people didn't get along? What if we had nothing to talk about? What if it's just super awkward and incredibly lame? It was awkward for the first few minutes—we were all a little nervous. And then the energy shifted as people opened up.

By the end, we didn't want to leave. There was so much to talk about: the desire to dig into real issues with real people was palpable.
